KIA Picanto GT-R Concept — GR Yaris Rival | Widebody Urban Track Weapon

The idea behind this project was simple —
what if Kia decided to create a true rival to the Toyota GR Yaris?

The result is the Picanto GT-R Concept — a radical reinterpretation of a city car, transformed into a compact performance machine with a clear motorsport attitude.

This project explores the contrast between small footprint and extreme presence.
A short wheelbase combined with a wide, planted stance creates an aggressive silhouette that pushes the boundaries of what a car in this segment can be.

The design features a fully reworked 3-door body, enhanced by a custom widebody kit, sharp aerodynamic elements, and a track-focused visual identity. Every surface was designed to emphasize tension, width, and forward motion — even at standstill.

Inspired by the philosophy behind cars like the GR Yaris, this concept imagines a world where urban hatchbacks evolve into compact performance weapons.
